Your PTA dues include membership in the State and National PTA and help support the Shaffer community. The Shaffer Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association is committed to supporting a safe, fun, and academically strong environment for our children. The PTA supports school programs, staff, and kids through planning family and community events. The PTA holds fundraisers to help supplement the school’s budget to improve supplies, technology, and anything needed to keep our kids challenged and learning in this modern world.
Becoming a PTA member does not require attendance at meetings or volunteer time. Anyone can attend a Pioneer Partnership meeting; however only PTA members may vote at a meeting to help guide program and event decisions and where and how PTA funding is used. Membership is also tax deductible. Memberships are effective July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021
Membership costs $12 per person.
