Each class at Shaffer needs two parent volunteers to be room parents for the year, and we’d love for you to join in! Room parents make such a big difference for the teacher, the kids, and our whole school community.

As a room parent, you’ll help with fun things like:​

• Planning the Halloween and Winter Holiday parties 🎉

• Helping Execute Teacher Appreciation Week ❤️

• Decorating hallways and doors for school events

• Putting together the Grade-Level Auction Art Project

• Sending out occasional email updates to keep parents in the loop

It’s a great way to stay connected, meet other families, and make your child’s school year extra special.
