FUNDRAISING

Fundraising is a pivotal part of the PTA's responsibilities to support Shaffer. Our fundraising efforts provide an annual average of over $90,000 to our teachers, programs, engagement with families, Leadership In Me certification, and updated technology. 

One of the main focus areas for our fundraising efforts over the last several years has been capital enhancements for Shaffer such as -  new sun shades for the blacktop area, mimio technology boards in every classroom, water bottle filling stations through the school, a new marquee out front of Shaffer, basketball hoop updates. These projects enhance the overall learning environment for our students and teachers. The PTA greatly values being able to support the school in these projects that the school budget otherwise would not accommodate. 

We raise money throughout the school year through 3 main mediums - a Fall Fun Run, a Spring Auction, and monthly Spirit Nights!

Thank you parents and Shaffer Community for continuing to assist and contribute to these fundraising efforts for our amazing school! We couldn't do any of this without YOU!
